Hi, I'm Nyx!
I am a Licensed Social Worker specializing in anxiety, depression, ADHD, gender and sexuality exploration, and alternative relationship dynamics, including polyamory, ethical non-monogamy, and kink. I work with adults (18+) using a relational, client-centered approach that emphasizes authenticity, collaboration, and affirming your individual experiences. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can explore challenges, better understand yourself, and grow on your own terms.
My Story
Are you struggling with managing life stressors? Do you struggle with anxiety or depression? Are you a queer and/or do you live your life “alternatively” from the status quo? Do you just need someone to talk to? If so then welcome! I am Nyx Hoskins, a licensed therapist with a passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges and find resilience within themselves. With several years of experience in the field as well as lived experience, I am committed to providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions and embark on a journey of self-discovery. I view therapy as a partnership where we work together to explore, understand, and overcome obstacles. My goal is to create a safe space where clients can express themselves authentically, fostering self-discovery and positive change.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in social work from Northern Kentucky University. Additionally, I am DBT, RO-DBT, and Internal Family Systems informed and have taken training on bystander intervention and crisis intervention. My therapeutic approach is rooted in client centered therapy which rejects the idea that therapists are the authority on your inner experiences. I would label myself a relational therapist as I believe that, authenticity and transparency are an essential part
of the healing process for many folks.

I offer individual therapy sessions for adults aged 18+. I specialize in working with individuals facing challenges such as questioning gender identity and sexuality, anxiety and depression, managing life stressors, ADHD, and “alternative lifestyles” such as polyamory, ethical non-monogamy, and kink drawing on evidence-based practices to promote healing and personal growth.

I am genderfluid and queer and my pronoun’s are they/she/it. When I’m not working you can usually find me obsessing over animals, gaming, creating art, attending a concert or spending time with my wonderful partners. My gender identity has been described as a mixture of a forest fairy, an emo teen, and a raccoon. I look forward to the opportunity to get to know you!
