The Help Center

What you need
If you are interested in doing telehealth, you will need a smart phone, tablet or computer. You will also need a PRIVATE space - a room with a door or even your car. If you prefer to meet in person I will provide you with my location and directions to my office.
Do you take insurance?
I am considered an out-of-network provider. I can provide a superbill to submit to your insurance which can be applied to your deductible or your out-of-network coverage. Some insurance companies do offer reimbursement of services from submitted superbills.
First appointments
Before your first appointment I will send you forms to be completed on a private portal through simple practice. The first few appointments are to get to know each other, understand your needs, and discuss what you want to accomplish from therapy. We will work together to develop treatment goals and discuss a plan for achieving those goals.
What are your fees?
Fees depend on length and type of session requested. Cash, checks, debit/credit cards, and HSA cards are accepted for payment. Fee for service will be charged to your debt/credit or HSA card within 48 hours after your therapy session. Or you may pay by cash or check at the time of service. If you do not give at least 24 hour notice of cancellation you will be charge for this lost appointment time.
How long does counseling last?
As much as I wish I could predict the future, I unfortunately cannot. Pinpointing a specific amount of time you will need in order to experience change is difficult as every individual is different. I will provide you with the necessary tools, encouragement, challenge you and support you through your growth process.
