Hi, I'm Lauren!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with more than ten years of experience supporting individuals and families through healing and growth. I specialize in trauma and substance use treatment, and I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I am EMDR trained and use trauma informed approaches to help clients process past experiences and move toward meaningful change.
My Story
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths based. I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a space of safety, trust, and respect. In our work together, we focus on building resilience, increasing self awareness, and developing practical tools that support steady, sustainable change.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I often integrate expressive and holistic practices to make therapy more engaging and embodied. I am also pursuing my Doctorate in Prevention Science at Wilmington University, which allows me to bring a prevention focused and research informed lens into my clinical work, with attention to long term wellbeing rather than crisis management alone.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing is possible and that every person has inherent strengths and the capacity to grow. Whether I am working with individuals, couples, or groups, my goal is to support clients in moving forward with greater clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of purpose.
